
Chocolatier Jean-Paul Hevin will be participating in Salon du Chocolat, a Parisian chocolate festival that will be held in various locations across Japan starting from January 22nd at Isetan Shinjuku. He will be stocking a wide range of exclusive and pre-release products. Limited edition products include the new tablet "Tainori" made with Dominican cacao beans and the chocolate noir "Madiba" tablet made with West African cacao beans (1,773 yen each), the "Best of JPH 12-piece Boîte Chocolat" which is a collection of the brand's signature products (4,694 yen), the "Best of L'Amour 12-piece Boîte Chocolat" which features all of this season's limited edition chocolates (5,673 yen), the "Boîte Chocolat Couture" which includes the "Mode" bonbon chocolate with a dot and stripe print (9 pieces for 4,156 yen, 16 pieces for 7,071 yen), and the "Boîte Chocolat Surprise Truffle de Truffle" which is a chocolate box filled with 14 truffles (6,000 yen, rose is 6,500 yen).
Pre-sale items ahead of the boutique include the "Pave Parisian Tablet Geant" (5,500 yen), which is the first of its kind in Japan and includes "Tablet Geant" studded with whole hazelnuts and packaged in a design inspired by the entrance to the Evan flagship store; "Chocolat et Cafe 2014" (3,990 yen), a collaboration with coffee hunter Yoshiaki Kawashima; "Coffret Bleased Normandy" (5,558 yen), the eighth collaboration with Alain Milliat, an assortment of chocolates made with Normandy apple juice and salted caramel; and "Boîte Anniversaire JPH-CF" (6,510 yen), a set of bonbons made according to recipes by jam master Christine Ferber.
Menus will also be available to enjoy exclusively in the eat-in space at the booth. Menu items include "Menu Plaisir" (¥1,575), a waffle paired with sorbet and a special sauce; "Menu Terre" (¥1,575), a set of "Guayaquil" chocolate made with Ecuadorian cacao and natural wine; "Menu Rencontre JPH x AM" (¥1,575), a set of a non-alcoholic cocktail made with Normandy apple juice and Evan's special verrine (dessert by the glass); and "Menu Best of SDC" (¥1,575), which features limited-edition chocolates and chocolat choclat (hot chocolate). Also available exclusively at the Tokyo venue are "Menu Découverte" (¥1,680), a waffle topped with paprika, oysters, and foie gras; and "Degustation Tour de Monde" (¥1,575), a combination of three types of chocolat choclat from different regions and pepper. Chocolate waffles are also available as a takeout menu item for the first time. There are two types available: "Gaufre Fruit Rouge" with yogurt sauce or berry sauce, and "Gaufre Exotic" with mango yogurt sauce or passion fruit ananas sauce (840 yen each).
