On the 24th, 25th, and 26th, Moomin, Little My, Snufkin, and Florence will be visiting on a rotating basis, and there will also be events such as a stamp corner.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Finnish author Tove Jansson (1914-2001), and events are being held all over the world. In Japan, this exhibition will be the first of many Moomin events to be held across the country. A special feature on Tove Jansson will be featured at the Tokyo Northern Lights Festival, a film festival showcasing Nordic films and culture, which will be held at Eurospace in Shibuya, Tokyo, from February 8th, and a major Tove retrospective exhibition at the Ateneum National Art Museum in Finland will tour Japan in the fall.
