IMA CONCEPT STORE, a shop run by the IMA Media Project, which operates the magazine IMA, the website IMA ONLINE, and photography-related events and seminars under the concept of "LIVING WITH PHOTOGRAPHY," will open on the third floor of the AXIS Building in Roppongi, Tokyo, on March 15th. Hours of operation will be from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The 500-square-meter store will be the largest photography-focused commercial space in Tokyo. The store will consist of three facilities: IMA Gallery, IMA Books, and IMA Cafe. In addition to selling art photography and photobooks, as well as merchandise created in collaboration with photographers, creators, and popular shops, the store will also host seminars and events by photographers, celebrities, and companies, and will also have a cafe attached. JTQ handled the space's production, while SANDWICH, led by Kohei Nawa, handled the architecture and design, and Brown:Design handled the graphic design.

IMA Gallery is a gallery that exhibits and sells art photography. It hosts group and themed exhibitions by international photographers, as well as daily lectures, workshops, talks, and other events, creating a space where people can casually enjoy photography from a variety of angles.

IMA Books stocks approximately 2,000 titles, including photo books from overseas labels that are not widely distributed in Japan. It also offers projects linked to the IMA magazine, as well as photo books for interior design and gifts.

IMA Cafe is a cafe that specializes in the quality of its coffee. It is overseen by OBSCURA COFFEE ROASTERS, which handles everything in-house, from sourcing the beans to roasting them.
