Adidas Consortium, the premium footwear line from adidas, is reissuing two running shoes from the EQT Collection, a series that brings together the highest-performance models in various sports categories. The EQT Running Cushion (16,800 yen), released in 1992, will be released on February 15th, faithfully recreating the iconic colorway from that time. The EQT Running Support, which debuted in 1993, will be reissued using nubuck and suede. Two colorways will be available: gray and red (16,800 yen) on February 15th, and black (17,850 yen) on March 15th. Available at Styles Daikanyama, VA, UNDEFEATED Tokyo and Shizuoka stores, and mita sneakers. The EQT collection was launched at a time of change in the brand's strategy, rethinking Adidas' DNA from logos and colors to appearance while retaining the essence of sportswear. Since it was released at the same time as the fall of the Berlin Wall, it is said to be recognized as a symbol of wealth in East Berlin.
