A pop-up shop for French shoe brand APOLOGIE opened on January 29th in the women's shoe section on the second floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store. It will run until February 9th. The shop will feature APOLOGIE's iconic "SCARLA" model (40,950 yen), the "MINNIE" pumps with a slimming wave silhouette (61,950 yen), and the "SALVATORE" opera shoes with an eye motif (37,800 yen). It will also feature booties for working women, heeled pumps, and two exclusive Isetan models. Also on sale are an original tote bag (3,780 yen), the "Bonsoir" soft toy (2,415 yen) in collaboration with "Control Bear," and a newly released stole. Additionally, visitors to the store will receive an original APOLOGIE postcard (while supplies last). Apology was launched in 2012 by designer Olivier Cognet, who has worked on shoe designs for high-end brands such as Sonia Rykiel and Carven. Based on the theme of the chic streets of Paris, the brand creates slim, elegant shoes using Italian materials and craftsmanship. Its concept is "shoes that can be worn every day, but are also refined and humorous," and its designs are characterized by a fusion of simple yet unique graphic details.
