KUZUHA MALL and the Keihan Kuzuha Station Building, located in front of Keihan Kuzuha Station, will hold their grand opening on March 12th as one of Osaka Prefecture's largest shopping centers.
The shopping area of KUZUHA MALL will expand from 50,000 to 72,000 square meters. The mall will strengthen its urban tenant mix, bringing together high-end fashion, interior goods, general merchandise, cafes, and more. New retailers include the lifestyle shop AQUA GIRL STORE, the natural and fashionable clothing store NAPOCA, the new select shop ANGOULEME CHERREVE, the women's shoe store WA Oriental TRaffic, and the American women's apparel brand FREE PEOPLE. The general merchandise stores AFTERNOON TEA HOME & LIVING, OFF&ON KITCHEN, and DAY&DAY'S will also be making their Kansai debut. The line will welcome the first style-focused select shops along the Keihan Line, including "B:MING LIFE STORE by BEAMS" and "JOURNAL STANDARD relume," as well as the largest "ZARA" store in the Kansai region. The line will also feature the world's first directly managed specialty store of London-based general goods store "Bombay Duck," and the popular Scandinavian goods store "Flying Tiger Copenhagen" (opening in April). TOHO Cinemas, the line's largest cinema complex, will open, featuring one of the largest screens in western Japan and the innovative cinema sound system "Dolby Atmos." It will also feature a game center and large specialty stores selling home appliances, sports equipment, and housing, providing one-stop shopping. SANZEN-HIROBA, Keihan Railway's first museum zone, will also open. The TV car that was retired last year has been brought back in its original form, and a diorama of the Keihan line and a driving simulator have also been installed. Additionally, the bell that rang out in the mornings and evenings at the original Kuzuha Mall has been brought back to life as a mall melody using digital technology.
The Kuzuha Station Building will strengthen its quick-service retail and service businesses that cater to user needs, pursuing everyday convenience. New stores will include the mini supermarket "Frestop Petit," Kyoto's popular bakery "Shizuya," the bagel shop "Brownie Bread and Bagels," and the herb and aroma store "Tree of Life." Keihan Reform, which offers home renovation proposals, will also be available. Furthermore, with the opening of the "Asahi Culture Center" classrooms and the opening of a "TSUTAYA" store, the building aims to function as a cultural infrastructure for commuters and students.
