Aoki Akira's solo exhibition will be held at Daikanyama Factotum

Jan 22, 2014

Akira Aoki's first solo exhibition, "ONESWER," will be held at FACTOTUM Gallery (11-3 Uguisudani-cho, Shibuya-ku) from January 25th through February 2nd.

With a theme of "People," the exhibition showcases works that express the "fascination with humanity" that Aoki has discovered through his own activities in Tokyo, New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Moscow, and other locations, transcending racial and linguistic barriers.

The title "ONESWER" is a combination of the words "ONE" and "ANSWER." Aoki shares the idea of FACTOTUM designer Koji Udo, who travels around the world and creates clothing inspired by the people and scenery he encounters. The exhibited works will be available for sale, and a limited edition T-shirt in collaboration with FACTOTUM will also be released.

Akira Aoki is an artist born in 1974. After working as a designer and apparel brand planner, he founded the design firm "FourGraphic" in 2009. He has provided designs for WACKOMARIA and created graphics for Nike Japan and other companies.
