The latest winter sale of any department store finally kicks off at Isetan Shinjuku on January 15th. Here are some useful tips to help you out.
■Get Popular Brands at Special Venue!
Popular brands often limit entry at their permanent stores. Popular brands that are expected to sell out may be displayed at special venues other than the usual ones, so be sure to check.
Tory Burch and Anna Sui are located in the main building's 6th floor event hall, sacai on the main building's 3rd floor The Stage #3, PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE on Isetan West 1 (1st floor and B1) (all until the 19th), and M-PREMIER on the main building's 2nd floor The Stage #2 (until the 21st). Be sure to check the floor map before you head out.
■It's Not Just Clothes! Popular kitchen and interior goods also on sale
Kitchen goods popular with women, such as Le Creuset, DANSK, and iittala, are on sale at sale prices. In addition, home items from brands such as RALPH LAUREN and Y's for living are also available at special prices only for this period. For kitchen and interior goods that are sure to have long lines, head to the 5th floor of the main building!
■Can't shop on weekdays? Shop online
Many people are unable to shop on the first day of the sale due to work. Good news for those of you like that! This year, Isetan's sale items can also be purchased on the website. Popular brands like MUVEIL, FACETASM, MIHARA YASUHIRO, KEITA MARUYAMA, and Cacharel are all available, along with special items that can only be purchased online. The online clearance sale will begin at 10:00 AM on the 15th (until the 28th. Membership registration required). ■ If you have more items than you can carry with both hands, have them delivered! Delivery is available in designated areas for 300 yen. If you end up with more items than you can carry at Isetan... We can also deliver to your home. Delivery to Tokyo's 23 wards and designated areas is 315 yen! This service is a great way to save money. Please note that some items cannot be delivered. During last year's winter sale, approximately 4,000 people lined up before the store opened, even on a weekday. The deciding factor is the first 15 minutes! So, here we introduce the entrance to the main building during the summer sale and the recommended route to each sales floor. Please use this as a reference (subject to change).
