On May 5th, Tokyo Midtown will collaborate with "anima," a women's brand that proposes sports styles like running and yoga as fashion, to host an outdoor yoga event called "Mid Park Yoga with anima" on the facility's garden lawn (cancelled in case of rain). Otomo Asako, owner of YOGA STUDIO TOKYO, known for her workshops at the flagship Anima store in Harajuku, will be the instructor, and there will also be a talk show with brand director Maiko Ichikawa. Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Following its opening at Shibuya Tokyu Toyoko Department Store on April 4th, Anima opened its third store at Tokyo Midtown on the 25th. One of the reasons for the new store's opening was Midtown's annual yoga event, which led to the collaboration. The Midtown store will follow the interior design of the Harajuku store and will carry not only original apparel but also select shoes and cosmetics. The store will feature cosmetics produced by Miranda Kerr, "KORA Organics by Miranda Kerr," and organic skin and body care cosmetics, "BUSH FLOWER ESSENCES," as well as a pop-up corner for cosmetics brand "THREE" until May 6th. "Anima has three main pillars: running wear, yoga wear, and everyday wear. This season's theme is 'beach mind.' We designed the pieces with the image of sports that are enjoyed in pleasant places, such as running or yoga on the seaside," says Director Ichikawa.
