
Alexis Mabille's 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week. Designer Alexis Mabille. The theme was "Night Butterfly." Inspired by Tony Scott's 1983 film "The Hunger," the collection evoked the strong, urban, sexy, and dangerous character of Catherine Deneuve's protagonist, Miriam. Masculinity was expressed through double-breasted flannel jackets, pleated trousers, and chester coats. Meanwhile, body-conscious dresses and slit miniskirts in velvet and jersey created a sensual style, accented with zippers and leopard print. The color palette featured nude beige, red, and black, with petrol blue and gold adding a chic, nocturnal sparkle. According to the brand, its main customers are Japan, France, Italy, and Russia. In Japan, the brand's signature feminine designs using ribbons are popular, while its haute couture line is also popular in the Middle East.
