Adidas Originals will release new models of its INIKI collection, inspired by 1970s running culture, on April 20th. The INIKI line, which debuted in March 2017, combines 1970s running shoe design with cutting-edge technology. This collection includes 10 new models: the men's INIKI RUNNER BB2098 in solid gray and turbo; the women's INIKI RUNNER W BA9999 in haze coral and blue; the INIKI RUNNER BB2093 in a retro off-white and blue colorway that evokes the golden age of running; and the unisex INIKI RUNNER BB2101 in white and pearl gray, the boldest color combination in the current lineup, and the women's INIKI RUNNER W BB2101 in clear onyx and solar yellow (all priced at ¥17,000). Three other unisex models and two women's models will also be added, bringing the total to 10 models. Of the 10 models, four will be available exclusively at the adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo. Also, like the "Iniki" series, the "70s" apparel series will be introduced, drawing inspiration from the 1970s. Combining 1970s designs with the latest materials, an improved fit, and new colorways, this series offers a modern interpretation of the classic, retro original silhouette.
