Former French Vogue editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld has been cast alongside her daughter Julia Restoin-Roitfeld in Givenchy's Fall/Winter 2013-14 advertising campaign.
As with last season, the campaign was shot by photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. This time, the visual theme is "family values and love." Carine is in charge of styling the women's collection, while Katy England is in charge of styling the men's collection.
Givenchy's creative director, Riccardo Tisci, has previously used close friends as advertising models. Other guests participating in the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection include actress Amanda Seyfried, actor Quim Gutierrez, and models Dalianah Arekion and Mariano Ontanon.
In addition, a documentary film about Carine's life, "Mademoiselle C.", is scheduled for release this fall, and not only her family but also Tisci will appear in the film as a friend and designer.
