Burberry has launched its new eyewear collection, "Burberry Spark," and three young British musicians have been featured in its advertising campaign. "Coastal Cities" is a five-piece band formed in 2009, "Broken Hands" is a four-piece band formed in 2011, and "The Night VI" is a sextet formed in 2010. Each band is active in the independent music scene. They recorded a special video in London for the campaign, and the resulting video is available on the brand's official website. Burberry has been discovering and supporting talented young British artists through its music project, "Burberry Acoustic," launched by Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey in June 2010. Bailey personally selects all of the musicians, and the three featured artists are from that group. The designs of the "Burberry Spark" collection are inspired by music and the colors of the Burberry Prorsum 13SS collection. The lineup includes square frame designs with solid colors on the front and metallic colored temples, as well as aviator-style models with slim temples. Prices range from 23,000 to 33,000 yen. They are available at Burberry flagship stores and the official online store.
