Bottega Veneta, enjoying strong sales, opens new store in Roppongi Hills

May 4, 2013

Bottega Veneta opened a new store in Roppongi Hills on April 4th, celebrating its 10th anniversary. The 218-square-meter store offers a wide range of items, from women's clothing and shoes to men's bags, accessories, and fragrances. The store design is based on the brand's unique worldview, created by creative director Tomas Maier. Everything from the walnut tables and glass cases to the leather-covered door handles is custom-made, and the store's signature matte neutral and earth tones are the main focus. In addition, Bottega Veneta's financial results, announced on February 16th, showed that sales for 2012 reached 945.1 million euros (approximately 123.5 billion yen), a 38.5% increase over the previous year, the highest ever. In addition, sales in the first quarter of 2013 increased 9% from the same period last year to 229 million euros (approximately 13.2 billion yen), demonstrating strong performance.
