Rage Blue celebrates its 10th anniversary by holding a curry contest for male students

May 31, 2013

Point's men's brand, RAGEBLUE, will be holding a business contest for male students, "RAGEBLUE BOYS CURRY," starting next month on the 3rd. The contestants must come up with a curry recipe, be judged by experts, and participate in tasting events such as the Space Shower TV festival "SWEET LOVE SHOWER 2013," sell their products at the school festival, and finally win the final event. The winner will receive a mobile sales vehicle, 1 million yen in startup funds, and a company logo. The contest aims to instill dreams, hopes, and confidence in participating students through presentations and sales experience. The deadline for applications is July 31st. Submissions will be accepted on the contest's special website. Curry, a popular dish often referred to as the "national dish" of Japan and a staple at school cafeterias, was chosen as the contest theme because it is highly compatible with RAGEBLUE, which promotes everyday standard casual style. Rage Blue targets men aged 18 to 25, with male university students as its main demographic. As of the end of February, the company has 62 stores in fashion buildings and shopping centers. It also has stores in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Singapore.
