The Daikanyama branch of LOVELESS, a select shop operated by Sanyo Shokai, will relocate and reopen in September. The new address is 20-20 Daikanyama-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The new store will move approximately 10 meters toward Yarigasaki intersection from its current location in the Daikanyama Laveria commercial complex. The store's floor space will expand by approximately 1.5 times, from 285 tsubo (approx. 265 m2) across two floors to 450 tsubo (approx. 490 m2) across one floor. "We've been looking for a large, single-floor space for a long time. An apartment building will be built on the site. It seems like wealthy people are flocking to Daikanyama," said Tsuru Hiroyuki (crane under a rain crown), creative director of Sanyo Shokai's select shop division. LOVELESS, a Sanyo Shokai select shop launched in 2004, is said to be growing 130% this fiscal year compared to last year. The Daikanyama branch opened in 2005 as a sister store, Colour By Numbers. In 2008, it was renovated as "LOVELESS DAIKANYAMA."
