On May 14th, art group Maywa Denki's first dinner show, "Kabri Machine 8," will be held at the Contemporary Food & Liquor Pavilion (PAVILION), operated by Smiles Co., Ltd. Maywa Denki, who have previously performed live in countries around the world, will perform their first dinner show. The entire Pavilion will be transformed into a stage, and eight nonsense machines, including new ones, from the company's past developments, will parade around the venue, performing a mysterious performance alongside the audience to the accompaniment of Maywa Denki's automated musical instruments. The event will also feature a special menu exclusive to the dinner show, as well as collaborative sweets and cocktails with Maywa Denki, which can be enjoyed alongside the Pavilion's drinks and food in a space surrounded by art. A one-day limited-time shop will also be open at the venue, where many of Maywa Denki's products will be available for purchase on the spot.
The first session on the day will be from 1:15pm to 3:15pm, the second from 5pm to 7pm, and the third from 8:15pm to 10:15pm. Each session has a capacity of 42 people, and the fee is a music charge of 6,000 yen (food and drinks are charged separately/one drink order required). Applications can be made through the Peatix website (dinnershow170514.peatix.com).
