Dickies has launched the "Takumi Line," a clothing collection incorporating Japanese craftsmanship, which launched in the 2013-2014 Fall/Winter collection. It's available at the Kichijoji store.
This project goes beyond the brand's previous image of affordable durability, and craftsmen create products with a focus on materials, sewing, and processing. The project is supported entirely by factories in Japan, primarily five factories in Okayama and Fukuyama, meccas of denim and workwear. The lineup includes denim, chinos, cargo pants, and work shirts. Prices range from ¥10,000 to ¥20,000.
Dickies is a work casual brand founded in Texas, USA, in 1922. It operates in approximately 100 countries worldwide, offering men's, women's, and children's clothing, as well as accessories such as bags and caps.
