The theme of LANVIN's 2014 Spring/Summer women's collection, unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, was "Shine." Alber Elbaz served as creative director. All 48 looks shimmered with shiny materials, including glitter, brocade, satin, and tulle adorned with powdered sequins. All were original fabrics crafted around the world for this collection. The color palette included jewel tones such as sapphire blue, ruby red, emerald green, and gold. In addition to formal pieces like dresses, sets, and tailored jackets, casual pieces like T-shirts, jumpsuits, trench coats, and peacoat-style jackets also evoked a luminous elegance. Trendy designs included pleated, one-shoulder, and jumpsuit designs. Large, jewel-shaped pendants in the shape of stars and hearts, as well as Lanvin's signature oversized ribbons, were also featured. The new bag is a tote bag with a chain strap, available in a wide variety of materials such as python and glitter. The chain with jewels can be worn around the arm to create a bracelet-like look.
