On October 15th, Motonari Ono presented its 2014 Spring/Summer collection at Tokyo Fashion Week. Inspired by Lie Edelkoort's photo book "Fetishism in Fashion," designer Makoto Onohara explored his vision of fetishism. Starting with a red mini dress, inspired by the "absolute territory" (zettai ryouiki), the collection showcased coquettish motifs like a white detachable collar, lace, and frills, along with erotic elements like black see-through and nude fabrics, slits, and corset-style lace-up details. The baroque pattern printed on the satin "embodies the tingling sensation of fetishism," according to Ono. The lingerie was inspired by the designs of French lingerie brand Chantal Thomass. The open-toe pumps also expressed Ono's vision of fetishism.
