EACH×OTHER will open a limited store at Shinjuku Isetan. This time, they will collaborate with seven people.

Oct 24, 2013

Fashion brand EACH×OTHER is hosting a pop-up event called "ART MEETS FASHION" at The Stage #3 on the 3rd floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store from the 23rd until the 29th.

Each season, the brand invites a different artist as a guest designer for collaboration. This time, the collection features seven artists. Participants include central artist Robert Montgomery, Alessandra D'urso, Naco, Thomas Lelu, and Yi Zhou. Based on this season's theme, "Secret Places," each artist's work is featured on hidden areas like the underside of shirt collars and the inside of jackets. A video of Robert Montgomery's installation, which was shown for the first time in the world, will also be screened at the venue. EACH×OTHER was launched in 2012 by fashion designer Ilan Delouis and art director Jenny Mannerheim, and began full-scale operations in Japan in the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter season. It functions as a creative community, collaborating with artists, poets, musicians, filmmakers, and others selected by Ilan and Jenny. They seek out artists from around the world, famous or unknown, who share the enthusiasm to "do something interesting together!" "Even those who prioritize comfort and prefer plain designs are sure to want clothes that express their individuality. This collection features basic patterns layered with the designer's unique artwork, so even those who prefer a more plain style will enjoy wearing it. Since a different guest designer is featured each season, future developments remain a mystery. We hope people will continue to see the brand evolve," said the assistant buyer.
