Kenzo announces new collaboration, releases T-shirts and sweatshirts to promote ocean conservation

Sep 30, 2013

KENZO has announced a partnership with the London-based Blue Marine Foundation, which works to protect the oceans from overfishing and pollution.

At the Kenzo 14 Spring/Summer collection show, which was held at Paris Fashion Week on September 29th, models appeared wearing T-shirts designed in collaboration with the foundation, and creative director Humberto Leon also wore a sweatshirt version. Both will be released in January next year and will be sold in Kenzo stores, the official online store, and select shops.

At the show, which was held at a film studio north of Paris, clothing designed with sea and fish motifs was shown against a backdrop of a waterfall-like curtain of water. Actress Laura and model/actress Tao also enjoyed the show from the front row.
