Transit General Office has opened a new cafe dining and coffee stand called "THE DISH AND CUP" on the fifth floor of PREMIERE YOKOHAMA (1-30-1 Nakagawa Chuo, Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture), a commercial facility that opened on October 25th at Yokohama Center-Kita Station. The space consists of a coffee stand area (36 seats) and a cafe dining area (42 seats, including 8 terrace seats) at the back. It is overseen by Mitsuru Asamoto of the popular Jiyugaoka cafe "Jiyugaoka Bake Shop." The coffee stand serves coffee made with beans from "ALL DAY COFFEE," a cafe that opened at Grand Front Osaka in April, as well as kids' drinks and organic herbal teas. Freshly baked cookies (300 yen) and yogurt muffins (180 yen) designed by Jiyugaoka Bake Shop are also available. The cafe also sells original ALL DAY COFFEE merchandise designed by Naomi Hirabayashi, a unique find in the Kanto region. The cafe dining area offers meals perfect for sharing, from breakfast to dinner. "Inspired by a West Coast farmer's cafe, we created a healthy menu using plenty of vegetables. We also recommend our daily baked muffins, pound cake, quiche, and organic wine," says Asamoto. Aiming to target women who are sensitive to beauty and lifestyle, the cafe also strives to create a relaxing space. "This is a place you can enjoy from breakfast to a girls' night out. We aim to be the most stylish cafe in Kohoku," says a spokesperson. Near the entrance, there's a cosmetics corner overseen by natural and organic cosmetics shop Cosme Kitchen, offering skincare, haircare, herbal teas, and more. Cosme Kitchen's popular La Claree brand and Mama Butter, which is safe for babies, are also available. To celebrate the opening, the store will be releasing a limited edition of 200 organic cosmetics kits (2,980 yen). The lifestyle goods corner will also feature Moroccan-made slippers and tableware.
