Think of Fashion, an organization that considers cultural and social phenomena related to people's clothing, will hold a symposium in Kanazawa on November 3rd entitled "The Philosophy of ANREALAGE."

In conjunction with the exhibition Philosophical Fashion 2 "ANREALAGE "A COLOR UN COLOR"" currently being held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, the symposium will discuss ANREALAGE from various angles at Theater 21 within the museum. The first half of the event will feature lectures by exhibition curator Hirabayashi Megumi, titled "Exhibiting Fashion in a Contemporary Art Museum: The Case of ANREALAGE," followed by "ANREALAGE from a Musical Perspective: Commonalities in Approaches to Creation" by Sugihara Ippei, the composer who creates the music for ANREALAGE shows; "History and Time: On 'Transition' in ANREALAGE" by Kikuta Takuya, a part-time lecturer at Bunka Gakuen and Joshibi University of Art and Design; and "Similarities and Differences: The Science of ANREALAGE" by Kudo Masato, a part-time lecturer at Musashi University. The second half will feature a free discussion based on these topics. The event will also be broadcast simultaneously at Colomoza in Jingumae, Tokyo. Additionally, a screening of footage of ANREALAGE's past collections will be held between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM prior to the symposium.
