GU and girly fashion magazine Larme (published by Tokuma Shoten) held a talk event on the 31st at Bic Camera at the Shinjuku East Exit in Tokyo, featuring SKE48 member Matsui Rena, models Kanno Yui and Nakamura Risa, and more. The event took place at the "Wonder Closet" photo booth, which will be open on the 7th floor of Bic Camera until April 17th. The venue, featuring muted colors evocative of dried flowers, was complemented by girly items like swan figurines and balloons, as well as a coffin, expressing the Larme-esque worldview. "I always get nervous in fitting rooms, but I'd love to try this one," Matsui said, praising the fitting room, which was draped with hand-sewn pink curtains decorated with ribbons. The corner featured a selection of items that matched the "L'Arme" style, including a pale purple tulle maxi skirt (1,490 yen), light yellow roll-up leggings with a white floral pattern (990 yen), and a flower crown-like headband (490 yen), all released in line with GU's March theme, "Grunge Fairy." When asked about items to look forward to this spring, Matsui said, "I want to enjoy fashion from the feet up, like wearing colorful sandals with sheer socks. I'm already loving metallic shoes." Suga commented, "I want to enjoy a fetishistic mix, like pairing a lingerie-style camisole or bustier over a T-shirt, or a see-through knee-high over an oversized sweatshirt." Nakamura focused on gingham check, which also ranked first in a survey of "items you definitely want for spring" among L'Arme readers. Starting with Matsui, who was due to release her own photo book the next day, each participant spoke of their enthusiasm for their new environment, and the event concluded in a harmonious atmosphere.
