Shibuya Hikarie celebrates its 2nd anniversary with a collaboration with Hello Kitty. Limited menu and beer event available.

From April 17th to May 6th, Shibuya Hikarie will be holding various events to commemorate its second anniversary, including a collaboration with Hello Kitty.

"SHIBUYA de Hello Kitty" will be held from April 24th to celebrate Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary. On the second floor of "ShinQs," a collaboration with popular women's brand "Ninamew" will be held, selling Hello Kitty-themed accessories and miscellaneous goods on the event stage. Original Kitty sweets will be sold exclusively on the B2 floor. In addition, each store on each floor of "ShinQs" will offer limited-edition Kitty-themed items.

Meanwhile, on the food floor, a total of 28 cafes and restaurants will be offering limited-time menus from April 17th to May 6th for "2nd Anniversary Happy Meals." Value set courses and limited-quantity menus will be available, including dishes made with luxurious ingredients such as Kobe beef hamburgers.

From April 26th to 27th, the anniversary of the opening, the craft beer tasting exhibition "Grand Bierre 2014" will be held in the Hikarie Hall on the 9th floor. More than 100 brands of beer from Japan and abroad will be available, allowing visitors to experience the differences in aroma between breweries. All visitors will receive a "Best Aroma Glass," a special glass that brings out the aroma of the beer, and they will be able to taste and compare the different beers. Tickets are 5,000 yen on the day and 4,600 yen in advance.

There will also be a concert by the "Hikarie Orchestra" on the weekend. Other exciting events include a limited-time screening program in the planetarium, "MEGASTAR," and the "Tokyo Cosmetic Collection," which will sell new cosmetics and event-exclusive kits.
