The NPO "Work and Childcare Counseling Center," Ginza Mitsukoshi, and the Ginza Street Association 4-chome Branch are holding "Ginza Working+," an event in the Ginza area from April 9th to 22nd, aimed at encouraging women to enjoy childcare, work, and daily life in their own way.
During the event, the 9th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi and the Ginza area will be transformed into a learning space, with talk shows, seminars, consultation sessions, and other events focused on making childcare and daily life more enjoyable for women. Through this event, the organization aims to promote the creation of a more livable neighborhood for women, especially in Ginza, where the family population is on the rise.
On the first day of the event, the 9th, as an opening event, Mariko Bando, chairperson of the organization, gave a lecture at Ginza Mitsukoshi on childcare, work styles, and lifestyles. She shared tips and experiences for working women to live happily and authentically in their daily lives. Many women with children were present at the venue.
During the event, Ginza Mitsukoshi will also offer a number of events to support working parents. On the 19th, a talk event will be held in front of the terrace on the 9th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi, featuring fashion designer Junko Koshino, on the topic of fashionable work and child-rearing. Reservations are required for the event.
