Bvlgari's first chocolate shop opens at Matsuya Ginza

Apr 9, 2014

On April 25th, BVLGARI will open the first standalone store for its chocolate brand, BVLGARI Il Cioccolato, on the basement floor of Matsuya Ginza. Until now, the brand's products have only been available at BVLGARI Ginza Tower, Hankyu Umeda Main Store, and online shop, except during Valentine's Day. The store is located near the entrance on the basement floor. The interior, like Il Cioccolato on the 10th floor of BVLGARI Ginza Tower, features a calming atmosphere, featuring glass mosaics crafted by Venetian glass artisans. The mosaic features brown and cream lines reminiscent of chocolate, accented with gold tiles. A new special flavor will be introduced to the menu, made with Ginza honey raised on the rooftops of Ginza buildings by the Ginza Honeybee Project. To commemorate the opening of the first standalone store, the brand will also be selling a limited edition of 300 "Colomba" (meaning "dove") desserts, eaten in Italy at Easter.
