Apr 17, 2014

Leather brand MAISON TAKUYA has begun selling new leather goods on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. This is part of the store's ongoing French Week. A personal color customization event will also be held during the event, running until April 22nd. Five types of leather goods featuring the French flag's tricolor pattern are available exclusively at the store. The lineup includes an iPhone 5/5S case (7,500 yen), an iPhone 5/5S Combo case (24,000 yen), an iPad Mini Retina case (13,000 yen), a credit card case (16,000 yen), and a round-zip long wallet (70,000 yen). This is the brand's first three-color combination item. All products are handmade using goat leather. Personal color customization will also be available during the event. You can order wallets (40,000 to 70,000 yen) and bags (270,000 yen) in your preferred leather color. Delivery will take approximately two months after ordering.

Maison Takuya was founded by François Rousso, a French interior designer who also served as co-manager of Andree Putman. All items are hand-sewn and hand-cut. Due to its commitment to materials and advanced production techniques, it gained popularity immediately after its debut, and is currently available in 19 countries around the world.
