Dutch supermodel Marloes Horst has been appointed as the new spokesperson for Maybelline New York.

Marloes has served as a muse for Victoria's Secret and DKNY fragrances, and has also appeared as a Prada show model, appeared on the cover of fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle, and been a face of advertising for Calvin Klein and H&M.

Marloes commented, "Makeup is a wonderful tool to bring out inner beauty. Maybelline represents the image of a strong, confident woman, so I am honored to be chosen (as a spokesperson)."

Previous spokespeople for the brand include Erin Wasson and Emily DiDonato.
