The Japanese version of the American lifestyle magazine "Kinfolk" has finally been released, with the first issue featuring Japan

May 20, 2013

The Japanese edition of the American lifestyle magazine KINFOLK, titled KINFOLK MAGAZINE JAPAN, will be released on June 4th. This faithfully translated version of the original features a book-in-book format with exclusive content for the Japanese edition. Each issue focuses on a specific theme, and this issue's theme is "JAPAN." It showcases Japanese people with unique perspectives on their work, lifestyle, and more, from an American perspective. The issue will be available at Daikanyama T-Site Books on May 31st, with pre-orders now being accepted in-store and on the official website. Pre-orders will include a free bookmark featuring the Kinfolk logo. A launch party will be held on June 3rd, the day before the release, and Editor-in-Chief Nathan Williams will also be visiting Japan (registration is now closed). Neko Publishing Co., Ltd. will be responsible for the Japanese edition. Kinfolk was first published in Portland, USA, in 2011. It proposes a unique lifestyle accompanied by beautiful photographs and has a core fan base around the world. Published four times a year, it is available in Japanese bookstores, but sells out as soon as it arrives, and back issues often command premium prices.

With the aim of sharing Kinfolk values, Kinfolk Dinner workshops based on a common theme are held simultaneously every month in over 20 cities around the world, and are also held in Japan in Tokyo and Fukuoka.
