■Louis Vuitton x Hiroshi Fujiwara are back. A pop-up store with a spectacular twist opens in Harajuku
The limited-time pop-up store "LOUIS VUITTON in collaboration with FRAGMENT POP-UP STORE", a collaboration between Kim Jones, director of Louis Vuitton's men's collection, and Hiroshi Fujiwara, has opened at The Mass & Ba-tsu Art Gallery in Harajuku, Tokyo. A metro car will be placed inside the store until May 5th, and specially ordered items such as guitar cases and trunks will be on display and for sale.
■Participating artists include Quruli and Sotaiseiriron. Experience a new music experience at Isetan Shinjuku this Golden Week, with VR live shows and resale of tour merchandise!
Isetan Shinjuku is curating "Rock Time Line PART," collaborating with artists to offer an unprecedented music experience, and the event will be held at Isetan Shinjuku until May 14th. Eight artists will be participating, including Quruli, Sotaiseiriron, Boku no Lyric no Bouyomi, and Moriyama Naotaro. In addition to live and tour experiences using VR and headphones, merchandise that can only be purchased on tour will also be on sale.
■Marni x Porter's 9th "Block Collection" now on sale!
The 9th collaboration between Marni and Porter, "Block Collection," will go on sale from April 25th! This time, the casual collection combines two different materials with different textures: polyester twill that has been wrinkled by chloride felting, and nylon tape, combined with Marni's unique color schemes. Starting with sales at the Shinjuku store, the collection is also scheduled to be rolled out at the Isetan Haneda store, Hankyu Men's Osaka, and United Arrows stores.
■Chloe opens pop-up boutique at Ginza Six for its new "Nile" bag
Chloe will have a pop-up boutique at Sijae Ginza on the second floor of Ginza Six until May 31st. The pop-up will feature the new "Nile" bag, which was unveiled on the runway for the Spring/Summer 2017 collection. In addition to two types of bags for sale, the store will also sell limited edition bags and offer an optional service where you can add your initials or your favorite alphabet charm to the bottom of the bag (additional charms cost 5,000 yen each).
■Christian Louboutin will have a pop-up at Shinjuku Isetan. Introducing the new work of art, "Mexicaba" bag
A pop-up store selling Christian Louboutin's new bag, "Mexicaba," will be open from May 3rd to 14th at the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 1st floor, Handbags/Promotions. Also, a small version of the "Cabata" tote bag, which first appeared last season and caused a stir, will be released for the first time in the world.
