Yoyogi VILLAGE by kurkku in Yoyogi, Tokyo will be holding the picnic-themed "GOOD SUNDAY MARKET" on May 3rd.
The event is based on the concept of "eating things that are as healthy as possible, effortlessly and enjoyably," and is aimed at people who live in the city but still want to live a lifestyle that values nature. This time, you can enjoy a flower and miscellaneous goods market, as well as workshops.
Eight stores will be participating, including Hanazono Jusai, which offers Japanese gardening products that you'll want to take home; point de Japon, which offers carefully crafted clothing, household goods, and interior decor; and MAJURQUE, a small flower shop tucked away in the back alleys of Yoyogi.
In addition, workshops will be held such as "Making a Mini Early Summer Bouquet" by Les Prairies atelier asako (participation fee: 5,000 yen, payment required in advance), "Let's Dye a Tenugui! Dyeing Workshop" (participation fee: 1,000 yen), where you can make colorful tenugui using dyes, and "Making Yoyogi Village Garden Decorations," where you can make colorful cloth to decorate the beach that appears at Yoyogi Village, a summer tradition.
