Wako, known for its Ginza Clock Tower, opened a chocolate specialty store with its own atelier in Ginza in 1988, and has a history of over 30 years as a pioneer of chocolate specialty stores in Japan. This fall, they will be releasing "Ganache 1988 x 2021" (2,160 yen including tax), an assortment of "Ganache," a revival of the popular "Ganache" from 1988, along with four new flavors that have been further expanded upon by their current chocolatiers.

Not only have we reproduced the traditional flavors from when the shop was founded, but the new creations also use different chocolates and the cocoa powder sprinkled around them has a gradation effect. The visuals are sure to make you want to try them all. Wako's "Ganache 1988 x 2021" may be a small piece, but you can enjoy different flavors depending on the cocoa content, a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture, and a rich aroma. Enjoy the juxtaposition of new and old flavors created by five different types of chocolate.
