From May 31st to June 18th, Frederic Cassel will be selling the Father's Day cake "Moustache" at the Frederic Cassel Mitsukoshi Ginza store (B2F, Ginza Mitsukoshi, 4-6-16 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo).

The "Moustache" (778 yen including tax) is a chocolate cake with a humorous mustache that makes a perfect Father's Day gift. The soft and sweet milk chocolate mousse is combined with passion fruit for a sweet and sour yet bittersweet flavor, accented with brownie almonds. The decorated chocolate mustache comes in three colors: dark, milk, and white. You can choose the color of your mustache to resemble your dad, making this a cake the whole family can enjoy.

In addition, from June 1st to 30th, the store will also be selling June-only sweets inspired by fraise (strawberry). The lineup includes four varieties: "Mille-feuille Finger Fraise Basile" (756 yen including tax), which is made with layers of caramelized feuilletage, fresh basil ganache, strawberry coulis, strawberry and mascarpone cream, and white chocolate; "Santreno Fraise Vanille" (756 yen including tax), which is a choux filled with smooth custard cream and topped with strawberry coulis and vanilla Chantilly cream; "Petit Merveilles Fraise Banane" (3 pieces/648 yen including tax), which is a crispy baked meringue cake topped with banana and mascarpone cream with a hint of lime and strawberry coulis, and topped with a white chocolate shell; and "Macaron Fraise" (260 yen including tax), which highlights the sweet and tart fruitiness of strawberries within the soft sweetness of white chocolate ganache.
