Yohji Yamamoto, a concept store showcasing the worldview of designer Yohji Yamamoto, opens in Nagoya

May 24, 2017

Yohji Yamamoto will open a concept store featuring its full lineup on the first and second floors of Nagoya Parco midi on May 25th. This will be the brand's second directly operated store in Japan, following the Aoyama store. The store, with its white-based, inorganic interior, offers a immersive experience of the brand's worldview, stocking both men's and women's wear, as well as the unisex line B Yohji Yamamoto, which debuted in the fall of 2016, and luxury accessory brand discord Yohji Yamamoto. To celebrate the store's opening, limited-edition items will be available, including a rider's jacket (¥180,000), an original logo hoodie (¥24,000), a logo tote bag (¥20,000), a clutch bag (¥28,000) in collaboration with MATATABI, and two types of leather blousons. Additionally, on a first-come, first-served basis, purchasers of over 30,000 yen will receive a mini pouch in collaboration with Matatabi, and attendees of the reception on the 24th will receive an original tin badge.
