A.P.C. will launch its lifestyle goods collection, "La Liste Tunisienne & A.P.C." on May 25th.
This collection, designed by Laurence Touitou and created by Tunisian artisans, offers a new take on Tunisian arts and crafts. This is the third edition, and is an exclusive style for A.P.C.'s summer collection, developed around two themes: three stripes printed on foutas and ceramics.
The three stripes, one of the themes, are featured on "baskets" (12,000 yen / small 10,000 yen), "rugs" (19,000 yen), and "foutas" (5,400 yen). The baskets and rugs are woven from Tunisian rush and coconut, while the rug belt and basket handles are made of vegetable-tanned natural leather stamped "La Liste Tunisienne & A.P.C." The fringe of the fouta, a timeless Tunisian product, is woven using a special process to match the main color. Both are available in burgundy and black. The ceramic lineup also includes a "Set of 3 Bowls" (2,800 yen) and "Cups" (20cm, 4,600 yen / 12cm, 2,800 yen). The bowls are crafted from pure clay, perfect for the classic bowls used to serve Tunisian soup. The cups are inspired by the oldest Tunisian pottery, used for drinking spring water. Note: The ceramics are for decorative purposes only.
The products are available at the online store, Daikanyama FEMME, Daikanyama HOMME, Takashimaya Shinjuku store, Aoyama store, Yokohama store, Nagoya store, Umeda store, Kobe store, etc.
