
A special screening of Eric Rohmer's work, "Rohmer and Women: The Four Seasons," will be held at Kadokawa Cinema Yurakucho for three weeks from June 3rd to 23rd.
The second installment of this Eric Rohmer special screening, which was highly acclaimed in 2016, will center on four love stories woven through the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The screening will include the series "The Four Seasons," which is particularly popular among fans, as well as early short films and rare, rarely screened works, for a total of 18 films. Enjoy French films that depict various forms of love while enjoying the changing seasons. Other films in the lineup include "Spring Sonata," "Autumn," "The Winter's Tale," "The Life of Suzanne," "The Bakery Girl of Monceau," "Leo," "The Collector," "A Night at Maud's," "Claire's Knee," "Love in the Afternoon," "Marquise O," "The Legend of the Holy Grail," "Pauline on the Shore," "The Night of the Full Moon," "The Green Ray," "Reinette and Mirabell: Four Adventures," and "The Friend's Lover."
