
"Don't Blink," a documentary film exploring the untold life of legendary photographer Robert Frank, known for his world-famous photo book "The Americans," will be released at Bunkamura Le Cinema and other theaters nationwide starting April 29th. Robert Frank is a world-renowned photographer who is said to have "influenced every photographer." This documentary, in which Frank, now 92, personally narrates his life, explores the life of Frank, a prolific director of both photography and film, and a pioneer of American independent film, revered by the likes of Jim Jarmusch and Richard Linklater. The film is directed by Laura Israel, who has worked on music videos for many musicians and edited Frank's films for many years. The film features many rare scenes, many of which were only available to Israel, who worked with Frank for many years. The cinematographer is Ed Lachman, a renowned American photographer, and the music producer is Hal Willner. The film also boasts a stellar lineup of artists, including the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Patti Smith, who contributed songs. Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones even appear in the trailer.
