Yujik Asagaya will be featuring Taiwanese films in June, showcasing the charm of "Taiwanese New Cinema"

Yujik Asagaya, a mini-theater in Asagaya, Tokyo, will be holding a June special "Taiwanese Films: Winds of Youth" from June 3rd to 16th. A total of six films will be screened.

Taiwanese New Cinema has been creating a buzz with the release of director Edward Yang's "Taipei Story." In addition to five films that capture the unique perspective of the small world of boys and girls living between the 1960s and 1980s, the festival will also be screening a special feature on the theme of "Taiwanese youth living in the present day." During the period, "The Murder of a Young Boy" will be screened from 2pm from the 3rd to the 9th, and from 6:10pm from the 10th to the 16th, "Love in the Wind" from 6:15pm from the 3rd to the 9th, "Summer Vacation in Winter" from 2:10pm from the 10th to the 16th, "Stories of Time" from 8:30pm from the 5th to the 9th, "The Boy Who Loved You" from 4:10pm from the 10th to the 16th, and "You Are the Apple of My Eye" from 8:30pm on the 3rd and 4th, allowing you to enjoy the charms of Taiwan that change with the times.
