A preview of a David Bowie photo exhibition will be held at JR Kyoto Isetan from May 31st to June 13th. David Bowie is an artist who continues to have a profound influence and inspiration on society, going beyond the realm of music to encompass art, fashion, and culture. During the exhibition, a special exhibition space on the third floor of the building will display selected works. In addition, in the windows on the first and second floors, a limited-time exhibit will be on display until June 7th: "Tokyo Pop (KABUKI)," a 1971 piece by Kansai Yamamoto that David wore as a stage costume, and stage costumes worn by Ziggy Stardust.
In addition, from June 7th to 13th, a pop-up shop will be open on the 3rd floor of the museum, The Stage #3, where official merchandise will be sold again, orders for the exhibited photographs will be accepted, and merchandise for the photo exhibition will be sold in advance.
