Nana Komatsu visits the Chanel atelier in the second special movie for the 2016-17 Métiers d'Art collection

May 30, 2017

On May 31st, CHANEL's 2016-17 Métiers d'Art Collection Paris Cosmopolite show will be recreated in a special set at the Tsunamachi Mitsui Club in Tokyo.

To coincide with the Tokyo show, a special movie featuring CHANEL ambassador Nana Komatsu has been produced. The first part, released recently, shows Nana Komatsu relaxing in a luxurious room at the Ritz Paris, where the Chanel collection was unveiled, before heading out for a date.

The second part, which continues the story, visits the atelier where CHANEL's Métiers d'Art collection is created. You can see artisans meticulously handcrafting each step of the process, from dazzling costume pearls and sequin embroidery to floral motifs made from fresh tulle and hand-woven tweed.
