The "Grace Kelly Exhibition," showcasing Grace Kelly's spectacular transformation from Oscar-winning actress to princess, will be held from September 8th to 26th at the Event Square on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza.
Grace Kelly retired from acting at the height of her career to marry Prince Rainier III of Monaco and chose life as a princess. Her graceful beauty continues to captivate audiences today as one of the 20th century's most iconic cool beauties.
Entitled "The Eternal Elegance of the Princess of Monaco," the exhibition will display treasured items from the royal family along with rare photographs and videos. In addition to the Oscar statuette she won during her Hollywood career, the exhibition will also feature a variety of must-see items for fashion lovers, including dresses worn by Grace Kelly from Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as Gucci accessories, Cartier bags, and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. Additionally, the "Kelly" bag, synonymous with Grace Kelly, will also be on display.
A highlight of the exhibition will be her wedding dress, adorned with delicate antique lace and hundreds of pearls. This regal dress, beloved by fashion icons around the world, including Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, will be shown for the first time in Japan, accompanied by footage from the Royal Collection. Also making its world debut will be the tiara, adorned with 214 diamonds, a testament to the Duchess's dignity.
In addition to the exhibition, collaboration items with popular brands and creators will also be on sale. MUVEIL will release a new model from its popular "Grandma" charm series dressed in clothing worn by Grace Kelly during her acting career, and collaborations with MARIANNE BATTLE, KELLY ROUGE, AYAME, BOTTLE BY BUFFETT, and others are also planned.
