"Rock Time Line PART," a department store event that spreads new music culture, will be held at Isetan Shinjuku from April 26th to May 14th.

"Rock Time Line" was planned as a platform where music itself can be experienced more broadly and deeply, and as a place where the feelings of artists and listeners can be connected across time. Part I, from April 26th to May 2nd, will take place at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, in a space decorated and filmed by creative studio A4A. The space will feature eight artists: the traveling rock band Quruli; Sotaiseiriron, who have consistently worked independently; Boku no Lyric no Bouyomi, a multi-talented university student; Polkadot Stingray, a supernatural, sophisticated guitar rock band based in Fukuoka who are up to something; Porter Robinson, acclaimed as America's best DJ; My Hair is Bad, who performs 120 live shows a year; 23-year-old singer-songwriter ReN; and Naotaro Moriyama. In addition, Isetan Shinjuku will curate an unprecedented music experience in collaboration with artists, featuring live and tour experiences using VR (virtual reality) and Bluetooth headphones, music video costume exhibitions and screenings, a record experience space using Sony's latest stereo record player, and merchandise exclusive to the tour. Part II, from May 3rd to 14th, will feature The Rolling Stones at the Promotions section on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. Collaborative items with a photographer who looks back on the good old days, modernizes them, and connects them to the present will be on display, as well as a spotlight on GLIM SPANKY, an artist influenced by the group and pioneering the future. T-shirts and bags featuring original illustrations by vocalist Remi Matsuo, based on the "LIPS & TONGUE" motif, will also be available for purchase.
