Tokyo Campanella, known for its Tokyo souvenirs, will open its first concept cafe, "THE CAMPANELLA CAFE," on the 4th floor of Daimaru Tokyo in Marunouchi, Tokyo (1-9-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on April 28th.
Tokyo Campanella was born in 2007 as a new Tokyo souvenir. Its exquisite texture, made up of a triple layer of langue de chat pastry sandwiched with special chocolate, became popular and it has now become a standard souvenir. The cafe, which is fully produced by Transit General Office, offers a dessert menu that includes "Campanella Ice Cream" (780 yen including tax), which is ice cream sandwiched between Tokyo Campanella ice cream and comes in three flavors: chocolate, plain, and matcha; "Monte Bianco" (920 yen including tax), which is a parfait-style dessert made with rich chestnut marron cream; and "Orange Mousse" (880 yen including tax), which is oranges shaped like flower petals and layered with raspberry sauce. The food menu includes "Eggs Benedict" (single item/¥1,100 including tax) made with carefully selected red eggs, "Egg Sandwich" (single item/¥800 including tax) with a thick omelet made with red eggs, "Kuroge Wagyu Lasagna" (single item/¥1,200 including tax) where the delicious flavor of carefully layered Kuroge Wagyu beef fills your mouth, and "Roasted Vegetable and Avocado Caesar Salad with Cheese and Anchovy Dressing" (single item/¥1,000 including tax) which includes beets that are said to be an edible IV drip. The drink menu includes the "Layered Mocha" (¥880 including tax) with its original three-layer gradient, and the refreshing "Blue Lemonade" (¥720 including tax) with its signature color. Additionally, a special menu item, the "Afternoon Tea Set" (¥2,300 including tax) will be available, presented in a blue ceramic box.
