PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE has released its new collection for the Fall/Winter 2016 season.

The collection was inspired by the pottery that adds color to our lives, with colors that change depending on the climate and glaze of the pottery, and warm paintings. The "EDGY BOUNCE" series, characterized by side folds, features a long dress (32,000 yen, street store only) and a dress (29,000 yen) with a three-dimensional silhouette that bounces with your movements. The "PUZZLE" series, which uses patterns of different sizes for each item, includes a tank top (18,000 yen), pants (27,000 yen), and a coat (48,000 yen).

Other items on sale include a jumpsuit (42,000 yen) from the "POTTER'S WHEEL" series, which uses a round shape to evoke the image of a turning potter's wheel, and the "ZIGZAG GLAZED BAG" bag series (S/30,000 yen, L/42,000 yen), which features a three-dimensional zigzag pattern that resembles the marks left by grilling.
