CHANEL is hosting "CULTURE CHANEL, The Sense of Places," an exhibition showcasing the life story of Gabriel Chanel, at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, South Korea, through October 5th. The exhibition showcases 10 stories connected to important locations in Chanel's life, starting with Chanel's hometown of Aubazine, France, followed by Deauville, Paris, and Venice. Along with photographs, manuscripts, books, objects, archives, and fine art, the exhibition also features fashion, jewelry, watches, and fragrances. The more than 500 exhibits embody the worldview of one of the 20th century's most iconic creators and the very spirit of Chanel. The exhibition is curated by Jean-Louis Froment. He has previously served as curator of the CULTURE CHANEL exhibition, which he successfully led to its holding last year at the Guangdong Opera House and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
The opening event was attended by Jean-Louis Froment, model Kiko Mizuhara, Chanel ambassadors Ana Mouglalis and Caroline de Maigret, model Park Soo-joo, and actor Jung Woo-sung, who all celebrated the opening of the exhibition.
