Fresh handmade cosmetics brand LUSH will hold its first outdoor event, LUSH LIFE PARK 2014, on October 4th and 5th at Tokyo Midtown Lawn Square. Based on the concept of "LUSH (fresh, green, and lush) for a future in 2050," the event will be run entirely using natural energy. Divided into four areas, the event offers eco-friendly experiences through stage events and workshops. Rowena Bird, one of LUSH's founders, is also scheduled to visit Japan. The LUSH CHRISTMAS TREE HOUSE will feature a Christmas tree house designed by Takashi Kobayashi, Japan's leading tree house maker. Children will be able to create tree decorations using black pods, such as used cream, and the wooden fixtures from the shop will also be reused and used. The bikes will also store electricity during the day, which will be used to light up the area at night. After the event, the electricity will be used to support play for children in Tohoku.

At the "LUSH CHRISTMAS FACTORY," limited-edition items will be gathered together. 41 new products, 41 gift boxes, and 8 knot wraps will be on sale, allowing visitors to experience Christmas early. A Christmas item-making experience will also be available by reservation.

At "LUSH LIFE WORLD," visitors can enjoy free spa experiences and a pop-up shop. In addition to exhibiting the ingredients of popular products, the store will also offer advance sales of products from the fragrance brand "Gorilla Perfume" not yet released in Japan. Activities include the "Sentai Ranger Experience," where visitors can play with clay-like soap, and a stamp rally to promote animal testing, where visitors will receive a free facial cleanser. Workshops will also be available, allowing visitors to make their own chopsticks made from thinned wood and original cards made from banana paper. The LUSH GREEN STAGE will feature live performances by artists who support the realization of a LUSH future. On the 4th, Aya Sugimoto and akko of "My Little Lover" will perform. Sugimoto, who is also a businesswoman, founded the general incorporated foundation "Eva," an animal protection and welfare association. akko actively participates in environmental festivals such as "ap bank fes," and is also a member of "Kiva," a website that allows people to contribute to society through the internet. On the 5th, Miu Sakamoto, a known cat lover who has actively participated in volunteer activities such as rescue efforts for animals affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, will perform. Also, Simon Richmond and John Metcalfe's "Set In Stone" will perform a two-day performance fusing opposing elements—past memories and the present, ancient history and technology—through sound and visuals, showcasing the unique worldview of "Gorilla Perfume."

As a special gift for visitors, if you bring five empty Lush product containers you will receive a limited edition original eco bag and mug, and if you bring one empty container you will receive a limited edition bag. The collected empty containers will be recycled into Lush products.
