The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo is launching "Contacts," the second installment of its special 20th anniversary project. The exhibition runs from October 27th to January 4th, 2015. "Contacts" combines artists from diverse fields and disciplines, creating a spatial exhibition that allows visitors to discover new works. The exhibition focuses on rarely exhibited items from the museum's collection, such as Japanese paintings, photographs, and architectural models. Newly acquired works by emerging artists will also be on display for the first time. In conjunction with the project, a special lecture, "Discussing the Kahlo Exhibition: Photography and the Museum, Concerning Kahlo," will be held at the museum starting at 3:00 PM on October 25th. Additionally, "More! MOT Collection," featuring behind-the-scenes insights into the museum's collection, will be held on October 11th, November 8th, and December 13th, starting at 3:30 PM.
