The Gucci makeup line was developed based on Creative Director Alessandro Michele's Beauty Manifesto and embodies the idea that makeup is a way to express one's own character and individuality. Self-expression and diversity are core themes of Gucci Beauty. Gucci believes that makeup should not be used to hide imperfections, but should be part of one's own unique beauty language. We believe that makeup should be something everyone can use to express themselves however they want, whether that's expressing themselves as they are or transforming themselves to embrace a different side of their personality.

Each of the luxuriously packaged, multi-use makeup products offers unique appeal, making them fun to collect and essential to your daily makeup routine. One of the first products in the lineup is the lipstick collection, which marks the beginning of a new beauty story for Gucci. The lineup includes three lipsticks: Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Satin, with a satin-like sheen; Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Voile, with a sheer, dewy finish; and Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Mat, with a matte finish. The lineup also includes Gucci Baume à Lèvres, a lip balm that protects lips and keeps them hydrated, and Gucci Beauty's new hybrid lipstick, Gucci Rouge De Beauté Brillant, which combines vibrant color with long-lasting lip care. Base and eye makeup products will also be available. The base makeup collection includes three basic base makeup items: Gucci Sérum De Beauté Fluide Soyeux, a serum primer that smooths and conditions the skin; Gucci Fluide De Beauté Fini Naturel, a fluid foundation that gives a natural finish; and Gucci Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel, a pressed face powder that evens out the skin with a fine, matte finish. The collection also includes Gucci Éclat De Beauté Effet Lumière, a gel-type gloss that can be used in a variety of areas, including the eyes, lips, and cheeks, to give the skin a radiant glow like a transparent veil. For eye makeup, the lineup includes Gucci Mascara L'Obscur, a mascara that allows you to create a variety of eye looks, Gucci Crayon D'finition Sourcils, an eyebrow pencil that allows you to shape your eyebrows as you wish, and Gucci Stylo Contour des Yeux, a waterproof pencil-type eyeliner, in a wide range of colors. Following this first release, the Gucci Beauty makeup product lineup will be expanded sequentially. The first wave of Gucci Beauty makeup products, which went on sale on the official Gucci online shop, gucci.com, on September 10, 2021, will also be available at Gucci Ginza, Gucci Aoyama, Gucci Shinjuku, Gucci Nagoya Meieki, the Gucci Shop at Newman Yokohama, and the Gucci Satellite Shop at Shinsaibashi Daimaru from September 23. Additionally, the official Gucci app and Gucci Beauty stores will offer AR content that allows you to virtually try on makeup products. By projecting your face onto the screen of your smartphone or tablet, you can freely combine various products, colors, and textures to find your perfect makeup look.
